“Adopt A Soldier”

The Hoosier Heartland Chapter is seeking community support to assist with a project for soldiers serving abroad.  This project “Project Care” is an effort to link citizens of East Central Indiana and soldiers serving in Iraq.   Persons participating in the program are asked to commit to communicating at least twice a month either it be via mail, email or some manner with their Project Care adopted soldier.  Through this program we have already discovered that soldiers greatly appreciate receiving email, mail and care packages in the field as it provides a point of connection to home.
